Overheard at the pub

D. Everybody’s fucking normal. The problems with Christians is that they sound real good, they talk about effecting social change and I fall for it, I go along until I realise that the commitment isn’t really there, they just want to build a glitzy new church and then maybe do a bit of outreach on the side, in five years' time, once everybody has started tithing and they’ve secured a decent income for themselves. How many “true Gospel churches” do I need to check out? At least you didn’t pretend to be radical.

H. You mean I was disappointing from the beginning?
